Text
I thank the Minister for his update. His statement praises Loughs Agency's conservation work, climate adaptation projects, scientific monitoring and international partnerships, but warm words do not pay staff or deliver important projects. Given that the agency is now carrying more responsibilities than ever, will the Minister say whether he believes that Loughs Agency is currently adequately funded? If not, how does he justify that position to the staff of Loughs Agency and the communities that see services stretched and opportunities missed because of chronic underinvestment?
