Text

Go raibh maith agat, a Cheann Comhairle.

I have listened with intent to today's debate on a motion that we proposed in the hope that this would be an opportunity for a reasonable debate in which people would consider their position. I urge the Members on the opposite Benches to think about the position that they have taken today. Just because you have always been on the wrong side of history does not mean that you have to stay there.

You can change. Just as the Member said, you can turn your face and think about the facts that are laid in front of you and you can change your position.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.21 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.93).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
