Text
The commissioners' report from the public inquiry on the A5 has been with the Department for 10 months; it has been on the Minister's desk for six months. Five people have died since February. The Minister has told me that he is being careful, yet, yesterday — three days before the election — he made an announcement to the House about his intention. Whilst I cautiously welcome it, I am sceptical. Minister, what is the small contribution from your Department, and what are you doing as Minister for Infrastructure to ensure that funding will be found to deliver fully the A5 road?
