Text
Minister, I welcome the statement. All of our thoughts are with the families of the A5. As a Lagan Valley MLA, I know that it links your constituency and the A1, where lives have also been lost. As a Back-Bench MLA, I find it really refreshing to see you and Andrew working together to deliver stuff for the benefit of the people, genuinely, and I thank you for your comments on that. Others would do well to look at how government should be done. The Minister has answered about the A1, and I appreciate that it is in both our constituencies. Will the Minister confirm that there are no other barriers in the way and that the budget is already sitting there for the A1 upgrade as well as the A5 so that that can proceed as soon as possible?
