All of Mr Alan Robinson’s imported questions, contributions and motions in this mandate, newest first, including those assessed as not qualifying, uncertain or not yet analysed.
Thanks, Minister. I was going to ask you whether, if I write to you, you will consider visiting East Londonderry? I would be very happy to accompany you in meeting with some of the businesses that have to trade beside such buildings.
Mr Robinson asked the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development whether he agrees that it is bitterly frustrating for those residents and businesses that have to live and trade beside unsightly derelict buildings, especially when local councils have very weak powers to deal with such buildings.
To ask the Minister of Justice (i) how much public money has been spent to maintain Limavady courthouse since March 2020; and (ii) what investment is required for the facility to reopen.
Thank you for your answer, Minister. Do you agree that all of us who represent the north-west wish to promote it positively? However, that key route, which services the airport in the north-west, is in such poor condition and gives a terrible impression to visitors, not forgetting the damage to vehicles.
Mr Robinson asked the Minister for Infrastructure to ask his departmental officials for an update on the resurfacing scheme for sections of the A2 dual carriageway between Greysteel and Londonderry.
To ask the Minister for Communities (i) what progress has been made on recommendations for an Ulster-Scots Language, Heritage and Culture Strategy; and (ii) what plans the Minister has to meet with the expert advisory panel.
I thank the deputy First Minister for her response. Does she agree with me that, given that this site was once described as one of the most exciting sites in the north-west, every effort must be made to ensure that it becomes an economic driver for the north-west?
Mr Robinson asked the First Minister and deputy First Minister to outline the discussions that have taken place about Shackleton barracks in Ballykelly.
To ask the Minister of Health what discussions he has had with Executive colleagues to (i) replace the existing contract; and (ii) reinstate funding for free specialist adult counselling services provided by Nexus NI.
To ask the Minister of Health (i) what discussions his Department has had with counterparts in England regarding the introduction of baby loss certificates; (ii) how much it would cost his Department to introduce a similar certificate; and (iii) when he will make a decision on such a scheme.
Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs whether he intends to amend legislation to give councils more powers to deal with dilapidated buildings.
I very much welcome the opportunity to speak on what I and many others see as a vital public service. Our rail and bus networks throughout Northern Ireland are a lifeline to thousands of people, especially those who avail themselves of a SmartPass. As an MLA who represents the north-west, I know that we have been…
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure how much of the £8.1 million, recently announced to repair roads, will be allocated for the road network in East Londonderry.
That this is my maiden speech allows me to speak a little from a very personal perspective. It allows me to express my frustrations, as someone with long-standing health conditions who has been on multiple waiting lists and who has just recently been put on yet another. Today, we will all be able to share stories of…
