Text
I am more than happy to look at the case that the Member has referenced. It is not acceptable if the young person is not able to continue their pursuit of education through the medium of Irish, particularly because of special educational needs provision. It is a challenge for all schools when it comes to SPiMS. We seek to provide support, including financial support, for schools to do that. I do not know the specific reasons in respect of that school. Perhaps there are issues because of a constrained site, but I am only speculating. I am more than happy to look into the individual case that the Member has referenced.
