Text
I thank the Minister for her answer. RTÉ is not blocking it; it is a territorial block. On that front, Minister, people are infuriated when they turn on the TV and cannot watch the soccer, the golf or a miniseries. To eliminate geoblocking on the island, broadcasting rights for sporting events must be sold on an all-island basis. Have you had any discussions with FIFA, UEFA, the PGA and other broadcasters and internet service providers to ensure that broadcasting rights are sold on an island of Ireland basis?
