Text
I am grateful to the Member for giving way. Before he proceeds, I ask him to clarify something for me. I will refer later to the generalisations that have filtered through today's debate. Will he agree that he does not represent every view in the rural area, where views on hunting with dogs, animal cruelty, fox hunting and an entire range of other issues differ? There is diversity of opinion in rural areas. He does not represent all of that opinion, and nor do I. We should acknowledge that.
