Text
Minister, I had a positive meeting with Royal Mail on Friday regarding this matter. I learned from that meeting that the trusts go to Postal Sort when a communication is written. That is then processed, and it then goes to Royal Mail. Is the problem with Postal Sort or with Royal Mail to do with the type of service that the trusts have asked for? If you do not put a first-class sticker on an envelope, you do not get a first-class service. Is the service being asked of Royal Mail the correct service? Everybody is pointing the finger at Royal Mail, but the truth is somewhere in the middle.
