Text

Minister, it was wholly regrettable that, in your statement to the House on Thursday, you did not speak about the women who died. Two lives were lost, and they deserve to be remembered. Their lives should not have been lost as a result of the scandal. Minister, obviously you have ruled out a public inquiry. An awful lot of the questions today relate to accountability, but there is also trust. Trust in the system has been lost.
