Text

Minister, in the South last year there were 36,000 house completions. In the North, there were 6,000. That means that, in the South, pro rata, they are building at twice the rate that we are. A major barrier to the development of housing and economic development is our water and waste water infrastructure capacity. What discussions have you had with the Minister for Infrastructure to try to get to grips with that reality, which is stymieing housebuilding and economic development?
