Text

Yes, I do, and that is why I made the point about window dressing. Window dressing does not cut it. We need to see reform that actually helps politics to deliver better and that helps us to make a difference to people's lives. Despite the challenges of this place and the fact that it is a difficult arrangement, my approach has always been one of partnership. We need to try to find ways to work better, smarter and more effectively without blockages and vetoes. The reform conversation needs to be about how we do things better, deliver better politics for here and create a better partnership arrangement.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
