Text

Thank you, Diane. That is a constructive comment, which I will take back to my colleagues and to the Fire and Rescue Service. A key element of the wider action plan is a community response, because the community will know the situation on the ground, and, collectively, we can be much stronger in how we turn a situation around. I will take that back. The weather is starting to improve, and that is when worries arise about the risk of wildfires in Northern Ireland. We are all united in our message today, which is to urge people to be cautious in the countryside. If anyone is aware of someone deliberately setting malicious fires, I urge them to report that to the police. That behaviour harms our environment but also puts people, their houses and their businesses at risk.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.02 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.99).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
