Text
I thank the Minister for her answer. The Public Accounts Committee, of which I am a member, recently completed work on the role of utility companies on road openings, which was missing from the draft strategy. Will the Minister confirm whether the updated strategy will, in fact, include action to address the role of utility companies in the poor condition of our roads, particularly through poor reinstatement and the frequent and repeated road openings that weaken the road structure and contribute to its deterioration? When will you take action and fix the crisis on our roads?
