Text

The Executive have agreed projects such as the York Street interchange, the A4 Enniskillen southern bypass and the A5. Despite the political agreements on those flagship projects, infrastructure cannot be delivered, owing to constraints that include the climate change legislation. Surely the parties that championed that legislation, such as our oh-so-effective Opposition and those who now hold the portfolio in the likes of the Department for Infrastructure and the Department for the Economy, should see its effects. Does the deputy First Minister agree that we must work to resolve those issues in order to ensure effective delivery of large infrastructure projects and deal with issues at source rather than spend more money on ineffective talking shops?
