Text
Yes, there is a very clear need to do so. Belmont University has a desire to follow up. Meharry is also keen to follow up to talk about the social determinants of health inequalities. The National Cancer Institute continues to have a relationship with the Department of Health and, indeed, Queen's University. I was accompanied by Professor Mark Lawler from Queen's, who has many titles but is basically the lead man in cancer research. It was interesting to see the respect for him and the esteem in which he is held. He has that respect because he has spent a lot of time and effort forming a relationship with the National Cancer Institute. We, as the Department of Health, need to do that.
