Text

Towns and villages across Northern Ireland have long and proud historical links with the United States. Many will mark the semiquincentennial signing of the Declaration of Independence this July. Minister, will you outline to the House what your Department is doing to recognise and strengthen those connections and, in particular, to support the development of a trail between communities in North Antrim, such as Dervock and Cullybackey, and those in other parts of Northern Ireland, such as Coagh in Mid Ulster and Carrickfergus in East Antrim? Will you outline what plans you have to create a lasting trail between those towns and villages?

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.06 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.69).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
