Text
Thank you, Minister. I do not know whether you are aware, but my degree was in history, so it is very important to me that we tell our story, and I am very excited about the exhibition that is coming up in PRONI. However, that story must be honest, and I have to say, Minister, that I am quite disappointed that you mentioned Charles Thomson alongside John Dunlap, a well-known slave owner and slave trader who used his printing presses to print newspapers to sell people in. Will you ensure that the PRONI exhibition is completely honest and tells the full story of some of our ancestors' shameful backgrounds?
