Text

Absolutely. I can think of examples in my constituency of where parking like this can impact on householders and local residents' ability to get access to emergency services and other services that are critical to their day-to-day lives. I hope that the scheme will alleviate some pressures by freeing up access. In the case of domiciliary carers, community nurses and other things like that, the local health and social care trust or independent providers of domiciliary care can apply on behalf of the staff who deliver care to people. The carer permits will be issued free of charge.
