Text
The EA will work closely with the school principal. It has engaged with the school to outline the works that it needs to complete to go through the process in order for the necessary business cases and so on to be completed. Then, the necessary funding needs to be made available for that. I will make the point that I made earlier during Question Time. Many schools require significant investment, and the only way that we will be able to deliver that investment is for my Department to receive the appropriate allocation that it needs. The failure to provide funding to Education over many years is now being acutely felt in schools, not just in Rosetta but across the school estate. The estate is decaying and crumbling, and it requires significant financial investment for that to be put right.
