Text

The integrated sector has the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education (NICIE) — the body that represents its views. Interestingly, the majority of integrated schools are controlled integrated schools. We also have Irish-medium schools that fall within the controlled sector. Therefore, the proposition that the Member makes — that controlled schools are somehow exclusive and do not incorporate other aspects of our education sector — is false, given that the sector is inclusive of the integrated and Irish-medium sectors.

  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.80).
  • Subject area: Education structures, integration and community division.
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
