Text

Due to the current capital budget position and the number of major works projects that have been announced but are yet to be delivered, it is not my intention to make a fresh call for new major capital projects in the near future. A number of projects that are at the pre-construction stage cannot be progressed to construction at this time, due to funding availability. I have made and will continue to make the case for significantly increased and sustained investment in our schools estate.

  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.85).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.
