Text
I welcome the Minister's recognition and acknowledgement of the impact that exams have on the mental health and well-being of young people, but I do not know how he reconciles that with his stout defence of the transfer test. Where else thinks that testing children at the age of 10 or 11 is good? What are the financial implications of your proposals for the Department, Minister? How much money will they save, and has that been a factor in your decision?
