Text

The Member will be aware that other countries in the European Union have concerns about defence-related issues. President Macron has decided today to increase the number of nuclear weapons that France has. He said:

"To be free, we have to be feared."

Is that a part of pan-Europeanism that we should all celebrate? I could tie into that. Those are President Macron's words.
