Text
I have met and engaged with the Autism Reviewer. On the Member's specific point about children being in the most suitable school, that is a real challenge. Increasingly, we are looking to mainstream settings as the norm when it comes to placements, but we need to make sure that the appropriate support is in place for young people who have additional requirements and that they are given that support. We also need schools to come forward and engage with the Education Authority so that we can identify the most suitable locations for our young people to be placed.
