Text
I referenced the issue to other colleagues earlier. I am hugely concerned about the approach of the British Government to the local growth fund. That concern is shared by all the Ministers around the Executive table. We know of the impact of the organisations across our community and voluntary sector who support some of our most vulnerable constituents with training and employability work. We have been collectively making the case that there needs to be a change of approach from the British Government in how they have broken down the funding and split the capital and the resource, which in no way meets the needs of our local communities. There is still time for the British Government to change their approach, and I urge them to make sure that that happens.
