Text

The research team at Stranmillis is committed to engaging broadly and ensuring that lived experience, as well as operational reality, is reflected in its findings. Indeed, stakeholder engagement will be central to the research, with the views of Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta, Gaelchúrsaí, further education colleges, training providers, awarding organisations and, crucially, young people being taken into account. The researchers will consult relevant officials in my Department and the Department of Education. They will also consult our counterparts in Wales and in the South to ensure that we draw on best practice in comparable minority language models. That will ensure that the research recommendations are practical, evidence-based and grounded in real experience.
