Text
I am not suggesting that such issues are not important. I am saying that we are now talking about something that happened in the past. The billboard was removed subsequent to correspondence being issued. That is a fact. We are now talking about something from the past. I can speak only to the information and the understanding that I have. This highlights the need for a broader discussion about how we properly regulate and deal with issues, so that we are not in the Chamber every other week talking about single-item issues that do not impact on the people whom we represent, who are sitting on a waiting list, trying to put food on their table and trying to get their child a place in a special educational school.
As I have previously said, correspondence was issued by my Department in November, and, since then, whatever billboards were there previously have been removed.
