Text
Road safety is a high priority for my Department, and I am committed to working proactively to make our roads safer and to address the needs of all road users. I recognise that speed indicator devices (SIDs) offer some road safety benefits and are normally provided by groups such as local policing and community safety partnerships (PCSPs), which can be contacted for information on their future provision and support. My Department will continue to work with policing and community safety partnerships to facilitate the safe installation of the devices.
