Text
Minister, you said that the plan was for Reval2026 to be fair and reasonable. It is not fair and reasonable to the hospitality industry or to the constituent of mine whose small hotel has not made a profit for four years and who, despite having filled out all the necessary requirements, will see their rates bill double. They are telling me that it might be the final nail in the coffin. Your colleague in the Department for the Economy is rightly trying to encourage people to go into hospitality and tourism, yet your Department is hammering them into the ground. How do you square that circle, Minister? What do you say to the hospitality sector?
