Text

Of course, I want to make sure that we make it as simple and straightforward as we can for charities to operate. We know the work that they do and that many charities have had to stop work because of some of their more onerous commitments. We will keep this under review. I have mentioned the changes that we want to make to the Act, but I also want to look at the charity audit threshold. We know that changes have been made in England, Wales and Scotland, and we will look at how those changes can be made here as well.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.02 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.83).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.
