Text

That is an important intervention that we are duty-bound to take. It is also important that we take those actions if we are to protect our communities, society, businesses and the economy from the impacts of climate change. The third climate adaptation plan has been with the Executive for a while, and I will continue to engage with my Executive colleagues on it, because it is important that we get it agreed and published. We are particularly conscious of the impact of climate change in the winter months, with there being more severe and more regular storms. We need to be better prepared for that.
