Text
I thank the Member for his question. The Minister for Communities, Gordon Lyons, is one of the most empathetic and compassionate people who I know, and he brings that into his politics day in and day out. I see the people whom he helps, and I see the way that he speaks to people. It is absolutely wrong that, on the basis of one tweet, anybody can hold that somebody does not have empathy or compassion or try to suggest the meaning or intention behind it. We all need to be very careful about a third person being able to do that, and for people to blindly follow that opinion.
