Text
Deputy First Minister, we have heard a lot about the benefits of AI, but I do not know how aware Ministers are of its dangers and those of artificial superintelligence, which, people who have worked in the sector say, could threaten the whole of humanity. The use of AI will have an impact on energy supplies and on job losses. Data shows that, in Britain, AI has led to a huge loss of jobs in the past year. At the very least, the sector needs to be regulated and brought under control. Will you indicate how that is being done?
