Text

Minister, I am not an individual who holds grudges. Last Monday, however, you told me that I did not know what I was talking about, I did not have any evidence and I could not stand over my claims. They say that a week is a long time in politics, but for you, Minister, three days is clearly a long time in politics, because you echoed my exact remarks on Thursday. However, I will not be churlish and bask in your U-turn. There will be some Barnett consequentials for the Northern Ireland Executive as a result of the Labour Government's U-turn. Have you had any discussions with the Treasury about what the value of those may be and what you might use the funding for?

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.04 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
