Text
Minister, I have said many times that the neighbourhood model, which delivers healthcare closer to people in their communities, is the right way forward. However, it will take a lot of time, and we need a health service that is working and functioning for patients in the here and now. I really would like some clarity on a message that I got earlier today, which told me that the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service is about to call a critical state and that there are currently 160 emergency and critical calls from those who are waiting for ambulances that cannot be answered. Can you provide clarity for the House?
