Text
Apologies, I could not hear you. The issue is one that is prevalent across the North. It is frustrating, and I appreciate that. I hope that the Member understands the difficult position that the Department is in when it comes to its getting involved. It is the developer's responsibility, and a number of steps have been taken to ensure that the developer meets its responsibility. I do not have the details of the case to hand, but if the Member would like to provide me with more detail, I will look into it to see where the development stands. I know that it is a huge challenge, however. As the Member will know, I announced changes for unadopted roads earlier in the year. Hopefully, those changes might help in that scenario. If the Member wants to provide me with more detail, however, I can update him accordingly.
