Text

Minister, one of the strategic aims set out in the strategy that you published last year is about the:

"Development, maintenance and protection of the Integrated Ethos".

However, from your previous answers, it sounds as if you think that the integrated ethos, which is more than simply a mixing of the numbers of pupils, is somehow a bit of a put-up job — a bit of a con job — or that there is something a bit fraudulent about it. In your strategy, you have said that you want to develop and protect the integrated ethos. What do you think it is? Do you think it is a real thing? Do you understand why it is distinct from other sectors?

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.36 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (0.74).
  • Subject area: Education structures, integration and community division.
  • The overall probability was low and the text did not adopt any identity-based framing.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
