Text
Thank you, Mark. The public consultation on the draft remediation strategy closed on 2 October. In total, 26 responses were received. Those responses and the views of the consultees will be carefully considered in order to inform any necessary amendments to the draft remediation strategy. There will then be further significant decisions to be made. Any necessary updates to the strategy will be determined further to the assessment of the consultation responses. Our integrated consultancy team is progressing the technical review of the responses. Officials plan to present the report on the consultation to me by the end of January next year. If the necessary updates do not significantly alter the draft strategy — we have to keep an open mind on the consultation — it is envisaged that the revised strategy will be presented to me in February or March next year. An updated cost estimate for delivery of the strategy will follow in March or April.
