Text
I thank the Member for his question. I say very often, when I am engaging with stakeholders across the Department's remit, that skills underpin everything that we are trying to achieve and that our further education colleges are absolutely crucial in delivering programmes of support, whether it is through training or with businesses. Since coming into this role, I have sought, as did Conor Murphy before me, to invest in our colleges. I managed to get some additional funding during this financial year, which has gone towards supporting our further and higher education institutions. Going forward, it is certainly something that I will continue to prioritise.
