Text

I welcome the Minister's statement and that he will write to council chief executives to outline their obligations under current legislation. The Minister will be aware that there are many cases of negative experiences of HMOs as a cause of antisocial behaviour in local communities, in particular excess waste and dumping, noise nuisance and over-occupation. To which statutory agencies should residents report such concerns, and will the Minister highlight that to councils?
