Text
I echo the comments of others that intimidation is wrong. There never was a place for it, and there never will be a place for it. I have been contacted recently by constituents who are concerned about the number of houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). While it is important that we provide temporary accommodation for those who need it, there is concern in communities about the number of HMOs that are popping up. Where does the Minister see the balance between HMOs and the delivery of temporary accommodation? Ultimately, we want to deliver more long-term, sustainable accommodation, rather than having to place people in temporary provision.
