Text

On a point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. I ask you to clarify that the allocation of time in the House to deal with any issue is a matter for the Business Committee and, in some cases, is at the discretion of the Speaker. Therefore, it is with good grace that the Minister has come today to give us an update not only on the matter in front of us but on other matters of some urgency. The time is not allocated by the Minister and is not of his choosing; it is allocated by the Business Committee or the Speaker.

  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
