Text
I thank the Member for his question. I will work with and support companies in achieving all the objectives of my economic vision of creating good jobs, promoting regional balance, raising productivity and having decarbonisation. I am happy to work with companies to achieve that and, of course, to support them in their efforts in engaging with the British Government. I am well on record, as is my party, about how we would like to see public funding invested, and that is in public services. The fact is that we continue to see the prioritisation of defence over public services, and that is certainly not where we should be investing. Businesses will, of course, continue to engage with British Government representatives on all strategies, as they see fit.
