Text

On a point of order, Mr Speaker. I wish to add to Mr Gaston's point of order. I know the points that have been made on the matter, but could an assessment be carried out? Agreement should not be required on a simple and factual piece of information. The cost of a hotel is the cost of a hotel; it is not up for debate or discussion. The First Minister and deputy First Minister's disagreement is over the release of the information — they do not want to release it — not the piece of information itself. Mr Speaker, you made a valid point about the Department of Health, where it can take a long time to gather swathes of information. Reading a number from a bill does not take long. It would be appreciated if you would consider that as part of your deliberations.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.05 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
