Text

I pay tribute to Alma and all the campaigners in my constituency who stand for proper support and services for people with SEN. Minister, your statement referred to different pathways for young people, apprenticeships and other items. I am concerned about reports that I hear — I wonder whether you hear them too — of people going into work and being underpaid compared with their colleagues and, in effect, being exploited because of their disability. Is your Department aware of that, and does it plan to take action on it?
