Text
Deputy First Minister, with respect, a vulnerable family listening today and hearing waffle, frankly, about moving beyond siloed working and greater collaboration would think that it is pathetic that the best that the heads of the Government can offer after an attempted pogrom on the streets of Northern Ireland is bureaucratic verbiage. To cut to the chase, some of your colleagues have talked about the context of the violence: one piece of context is the continued and pernicious presence of loyalist paramilitaries in those communities. Do you agree that that is the context for the violence? If it is proven that specific individuals or organisations had a role, formal or informal, in the violence, will any public funding that the Executive Office is responsible for be removed from them forthwith?
