Text
First, I will say that this has been a very disappointing day. My first thoughts are with all of the families who have lost a loved one and those who have been injured as a result of road traffic collisions along the A5.
It is not a day for point-scoring or anything like that; it is a day to look at what needs to be done to move the scheme forward. The Member may be aware that it is a 99-page ruling, so I will now have to take the time to consider its detail and what its implications will be. Let me say this, however: I am committed to getting the A5 delivered, to protecting lives and to ensuring that no more lives are lost on that road.
