Text
In a recent briefing, the Committee for Communities was told that 2,551 declared vacancies existed as of March 2025, which is over 20% of posts in that Department. Recruitment has increased over the past year, but so has the number of vacancies. Given that his Department is responsible for the recruitment exercise, can the Minister give a commitment that we will see a reduction in the number of vacancies in future reports?
