Text

The fact is that rolling out Encompass is one of the biggest changes to patient record-keeping that the health and social care workforce has ever had to face. Encompass needs a period in which to bed in and a period for validation, so, as frustrating as that may be, there have been times, and there continue to be times, particularly in the Southern Trust and the Western Trust, which are the latest trusts to adopt and go live with Encompass, when the information and data that we are getting is not fully validated. That is just part of the process. I say again that it is frustrating, but think of the prize when we get it fully embedded, operational and validated. Its impact on our ability to deliver public healthcare is unmatched, so we are in a really good position.

Assessment

Not flagged

Jev’s structured answers met the documented threshold for “not flagged”.

  • Overall probability that the activity is being used to promote, exploit or escalate an identity-based controversy: 0.02 (flagging needs at least 0.70; at or below 0.30 is not flagged).
  • None of the five culture-war criteria was met (each was below 0.60).
  • Assessed as legitimate policy scrutiny (0.70).
  • No identity-based framing was identified (1.00).
  • The overall probability was at or below the not-flagging threshold.

This is an AI-generated assessment of the text, made against published criteria. It is not a finding of fact about the MLA or their intentions. The Assembly record itself is the fact.
